A man driving a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle was killed in a head-on collision early Tuesday, police said. The victim was riding the ATV along Highway 406 near English Turn Highway on the West Bank around 1:08 a.m., according to preliminary reports by the New Orleans Police Department.
Police said the victim, for unknown reasons, veered into oncoming traffic and was struck head-on by a Range Rover. The victim was transported to Interim LSU Public Hospital, where he died.
